“Going to court is one of the most anxiety-filled things you’ll ever have to do. It’s the fear of the unknown and the lifelong consequences that come with any judge’s decisionthat ties your stomach into knots and makes you toss and turn all night. Having the right attorney can ease your worries.”
John J. Raspante was an Oneida County Assistant District Attorney before he started his own firm. John prosecuted thousands of felony and misdemeanor cases throughout Oneida County and also served as a special prosecutor in Onondaga County.
Prior to his work in the District Attorney’s office, he served as an Assistant County Attorney and legal counsel for the Oneida County Department of Social Services where he prosecuted child abuse and neglect cases.
John holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from Utica College, a Master’s degree in Education from Syracuse University and a Juris Doctor degree from Widener University School of Law where he was a senior member of Law Review.
Before law school, John was a social studies teacher, teaching at risk youth. During that same time, he was a radio personality at Big Frog 104, where he hosted the afternoon drive and voiced local and national commercials.
